Bio Ignition is principally led by Matthew Luttrell, a senior executive who has headed operational and commercial teams internationally, regionally and within Australia. He was a former Chief Commercial Officer of an oncology biotech and the Head of Haematology for growth and emerging markets at a global pharma company. His experience spans both diagnostics and specialised treatments in oncology and rare diseases. He has supported launches of multiple products in over 75 countries including leading launch readiness programs. He has held responsibility for identifying and leading Alliance Management relationships and headed business development teams working on scientific and business partnerships.

Matthew holds a BMedSc from UTas, Masters of Management and a MBA from MGSM, and a Grad Cert in MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics. He has also completed additional qualifications in Start Up Funding (Capital raising) at Cambridge University and in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Helsinki, Penn University and Duke University.
